Simple Restore Introduction

Simple Restore is an app for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central that lets you easily view past field values of records and selectively restore them.

The app uses the Change Log built into Business Central as its data source - no separate log data is created. Instead, Simple Restore provides a clear interface on top of existing log entries and gives you a direct time-travel view into your data.

Core Features

  • Show historical values - See what a record looked like at any point in time in the past
  • Restore single fields - Restore the value of a single field to an earlier state with one click
  • Restore multiple lines at once - Select multiple lines and restore them in one step (Expert Mode)
  • Detailed field history - Open a detailed change history for each individual field
  • Flexible time navigation - Jump to the previous/next change or back/forward by 1 day, 1 week, or 1 month
  • Integration into familiar pages - Direct access from Customer Card, Vendor Card, Item Card, Sales Order, and Purchase Order
